Anxiety Therapy: Find Your Way Back to Calm

Does it Feel like your Mind Never Stops Racing?

Maybe you wake up with an immediate knot of dread in your stomach, or you find yourself lying awake at night replaying conversations from three days ago. Anxiety can feel like a constant "background noise" of worry—a persistent "what if" that makes it impossible to enjoy the present moment.

You might experience:

  • Physical tension: A tight chest, shallow breathing, or restlessness.
  • Overthinking: Getting stuck in a loop of worst-case scenarios.
  • Avoidance: Saying "no" to things you actually want to do because the stress feels too high.
  • Burnout: Feeling completely exhausted from the mental effort of "holding it all together."

If you feel like you are constantly bracing for the next bad thing to happen, I want you to know that it doesn’t have to stay this way. You deserve to feel safe and steady in your own mind.

A Supportive Approach to Managing Stress

In our sessions, we move beyond just "talking about" the anxiety. We work together to understand why your brain’s alarm system is stuck in the "on" position and, more importantly, how to turn it down.

I utilize an integrative approach of CBT, ACT, IFS, DBT and mindfulness-based strategies. These are highly effective, evidence-based tools that help you identify the thought patterns fueling your stress and replace them with grounded, balanced perspectives.

Through our work together, we will:

  • Identify Triggers: Understand exactly what sets off your anxiety loop.
  • Build a Toolkit: Learn "in-the-moment" grounding techniques to calm your nervous system.
  • Challenge the "What Ifs": Develop the skills to quiet intrusive, worried thoughts.
  • Set Boundaries: Learn to protect your energy and peace in your daily life.

What to Expect

Therapy is a collaborative journey. In my practice, I provide a non-judgmental, private space where you can explore your feelings at your own pace. Whether we meet virtually across Ontario or in person, our goal is to help you build the resilience and confidence to face life’s challenges without the heavy weight of constant worry.

Ready to Take the First Step?

Taking the first step toward therapy can be the hardest part, but you don't have to do it alone. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit and to discuss how we can help you find your way back to calm.
